MOAB 4x4 HUNT OFFICIAL RULES

QUALIFY TO WIN PRIZES APRIL 1ST - 15TH @ 1PM MST

The MOAB 4X4 HUNT is a treasure hunt that gives participants the chance to HUNT 4 PRIZES and qualify for over $15,000 in swag and prize drawings April 1st-15th at 1:00PM MST, 2022. The Moab 4x4 Hunt is brought to you BFGoodrich Tires and BFGoodrich Ontrail.

The Moab 4x4 Hunt is a treasure hunt using the new BFGoodrich® OnTrail off-roading mapping app to qualify participants for fifteen Waypoint Drawings, three Grand Prize drawings, one FREE to Play Drawing, and over thirty Bonus Drawings.

HOW TO JOIN THE HUNT

#1 REGISTER AT MOAB4X4HUNT.COM

REGISTER ONE PLAYER/EMAIL ADDRESS AT A TIME. SELECT FREE -OR- PAY TO PLAY. A RELEASE FORM WILL BE REQUIRED TO PLAY. 


#2 DOWNLOAD BFGOODRICH® ONTRAIL APP

DOWNLOAD ONTRAIL APP TO PARTICIPATE AND ACCESS PRELOADED WAYPOINTS. SEARCH "MOAB 4X4 HUNT" UNDER MISSIONS.

#3 HUNT 4 PRIZES

USE THE ONTRAIL APP TO FIND THE PRE-LOADED WAYPOINTS AND CHECK IN AT EACH WAYPOINT TO QUALIFY FOR THAT PRIZE DRAWING. COMPLETE THE OPTIONAL BONUS DRAWING TASK. 


#4 UPLOAD WAYPOINT PHOTOS

THE PHOTO PROMPT APPEARS ONCE YOU ARE IN RANGE. TAKE A PHOTO OF YOU (AND/OR YOUR VEHICLE, PET, OR FUN OBJECT) AND UPLOAD TO THE WAYPOINT'S GALLERY. BE SURE TO WAIT FOR THE GREEN CHECK MARK TO APPEAR ON THE TREASURE HUNT LIST OR HUNT MAP BEFORE LEAVING THE WAYPOINT.

Each FREE registered participant can qualify for: 
 


REMOTE CONTROL CAR DRAWING

  • COLLECT ANY 5 OR MORE WAYPOINTS to qualify for $500 Axial Racing Remote Control Car prize drawing.*


BONUS PRIZE DRAWINGS 

  • Bonus Drawing entry details vary per waypoint. Non-winning tickets will go back into the pool for the next days drawing. See the Waypoints & Prizes Page.*


*Must be present to win on Friday, April 15th at 3:00pm MST at the BFG Spanish Trails Arena. 

PAY $25 TO PLAY

COLLECT 1-15 WAYPOINTS

Each PAY to PLAY registered participant that pays $25 can qualify for:


WAYPOINTS PRIZES

  • COLLECT 1 TO 15 WAYPOINTS to qualify for 1 to 15 prize drawings, one per waypoint completed. Upload each waypoint photo to the Ontrail BFGoodrich app to be entered in the drawing. 

 

COMPLETION MEDALLION 

  • COLLECT ALL 15 WAYPOINTS and  receive a Commemorative Completion Medallion.


GRAND PRIZES

  • COLLECT ALL 15 WAYPOINTS and qualify for three Grand Prize drawings: 
  • 1st - Five BFGoodrich Tires up to 39”
  • 2nd - Set of Five Raceline 17” Wheels
  • 3rd - $500 Axial RC Car⁠


BONUS PRIZE DRAWINGS 

  • Registered Hunters can also qualify for Bonus Prize Drawings. Non-winning tickets will go back into the pool for the next days drawing. Bonus Drawing entry details vary per waypoint. See the Waypoints & Prizes Page.*


*Grand Prizes and Waypoint Prizes can be shipped to the winners if they cannot be present at the drawing.  Must be present to claim Swag Bag, Completion Medallion, and Bonus Drawings.

Qualifying entries will be confirmed by event staff 1:00 - 3:00pm on April 15th. Winners are randomly selected and announced between 3:00 - 3:30pm.


Hunt 4 Prizes (“Moab 4x4 Expo”) is not responsible for the fulfillment of the prizes promised by the Sponsor. If the Sponsor is not able to deliver the goods/prizes promised to the winner (for any reason ie: inventory shortage, lost in shipping, manufacturing issues, etc.) the Sponsor will be responsible for coordinating the replacement prize(s) with the winner. 

PHOTO FUN - REMINDER

  • Have fun with your photos. 
  • IMPORTANT: Your photo should include the distinct and obvious elements from the waypoint's location in the background of the photo, with you and/or your pet, vehicle, and/or cool object to qualify for that waypoint’s prize drawing.
  • Based upon your opt in selection during registration, your photo may be used for promotional purposes.  
  • Play at your own risk. 

RESTRICTIONS

Registration Restrictions:

  • One registration per email address. 
  • Email address must match the email connected to your OnTrail app profile. 

Winner Restrictions:

  • Must register online.
  • Must be over the age of 4 yrs old to win.
  • Must use BFGoodrich OnTrail app to participate. 
  • Must be present to win the Free to Play prize & Bonus Drawings.

HOW TO USE THE APP: 

  1. Open the app and navigate to the 'Trails and Missions' tab. 
  2. Select Moab 4x4 Hunt under Missions and click 'Join Event'. 
  3. Navigate to each waypoint and click the waypoint on the map (note: photo prompt will appear once you are in range). 
  4. Take required photo and upload it to the gallery. 
  5. Repeat for each waypoint. 


IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

  • Do not navigate away from the waypoint until the green checkmark appears on the hunt map. 
  • Do NOT click the QUIT button at the bottom of the screen at any time during the hunt. Once clicked you cannot return to the mission and continue the hunt. Refer back to the ONTRAIL page for more details.
  • Once you return to cell service/wifi, open the Moab 4x4 Hunt Mission in the OnTrail App and double check that all green checkmarks appear. 

Winners are required to pay taxes on prizes they win.

There is no minimum number of entries required for this hunt to award participants with prizes.
